Beneficial Bacterium
Bacteria are usually associated with images of unpleasant, disease-causing microorganisms. Bacteria however are much more than that. Most of them are harmless to humans, and some of them are even necessary for our existence. Without us realizing it, we depend on one of their major characteristics and that is the capability to break things down. They are known to help decompose the garbage dumped everyday.
